The Snorkeling Mantas Nusa Penida tour will include the visitation of 3 beautiful snorkeling sites around the surrounding 3 Islands. The trip will last for approximately 3 – 4 hours and will be an excursion that is based on your preferences. If you are enjoying a specific site, then there is no rush to leave. We can stay for as long as your heart desires. Before departing, we will first discuss your level of comfort in the water and choose the best sites for you. Whatever we decide, rest assured that abundant marine life and marvelous coral will be found.

The North Coast of Nusa Penida offers a variety of drift snorkeling, which is like flying on water. The visibility is crystal clear and thousands of fish families will welcome you. Safety is our number 1 priority and therefore we will ultimately choose the best locations based on the sea conditions. Additionally, our snorkeling boat equipped with life jackets, first aid supplies, and full snorkeling gear. Bali Day Trip Snorkeling with Mantas Nusa Penida

If you are unable to stay on Nusa Penida Island, that’s no problem. Legend Diving will arrange door-to-door transportation from your hotel in Bali to our dive center, and back.

First, a car will pick you up at 8 am and drop you at the ferry terminal. Once you have settled in, we will provide snorkeling gear and present a briefing of how your day will look. Thereafter, we will depart the dive center and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings of Nusa Penida while snorkeling in paradise. At the end of the day, we will then drop you off at the ferry terminal. From this point onward, you will make your way back to Bali with the transportation arranged by us.

They are always around, no matter the season. We are lucky enough to see them at any time of the year. The Reef Manta ray, which is found on Nusa Penida, measures up to 5.5m wide. Oceanic Manta rays, on the other hand, can measure up to 8.8m wide. We can find them in other locations around Indonesia. We must remember that Manta rays are harmless and do not have a stinger. They feed on microplankton and are just as interested in us as we are in them. Don’t be afraid: they are gentle giants.

Nusa Penida Beach Club Package

If you are looking to upgrade your snorkeling trip, then look no further than our Beach Club package deal. On completion of 2 snorkeling sessions, we will then park our boat on the white sand beach of Toyapakeh

Thereafter, we will escort you and your party to a beach club which is located just minutes away. Once we have arrived, you are free to enjoy the facilities as well as a full traditional Indonesian buffet. After lunch, we will board the boat and head to our final snorkeling spot, before heading back to Legend Diving. This optional extra will add an extra 1 – 1.5 hours to the total day trip.

Snorkeling with Manta Rays Nusa Penida

You will get the rare opportunity to snorkel with Manta rays! Few places in the world will offer you such consistent sightings. In addition, there is no specific season to see them within our Marine Park Area.

These majestic creatures measure up to 5 meters wide.  On the other hand, Oceanic manta rays can grow up to 8.8 meters wide. The Reef manta ray is what you will usually see in our waters. Contrary to popular belief, they are actually harmless. They do not possess a stinger, as they are often confused for stingrays. Also, their food source consists of the microscopic plankton, krill, and jellyfish.

  • Be careful with your entry. Try to stay no closer than 10 m (33 ft) away
