What’s Your Training Looks Like

Drift Diver Lembongan Course Structure

In the morning we will meet at Legend Diving Penida to brief the dives and performance requirements for the day. Your instructor will remind you of some theory you self-studied and then head to the dive boat.

On each of the 2 dives, you will need to complete a few skills. Once the skills are done, then it’s time to relax and enjoy the drift. One thing that you will notice is that during drift diving we will cover a large area of water. This will provide an increased chance of seeing more of what the Island offers underwater. Hopefully, we will encounter Mola mola and other large pelagic while drifting along together with them.

When drift diving, we have the possibility of coming across a few potential risks. These risks may include extreme currents or losing our dive buddies. Don’t worry at Legend Diving Penida, our team of instructors is highly experienced in drift diving. They will never put you into a situation that is dangerous or unmanageable. Diving with a trained professional will also give you a better chance of seeing more marine life. Our team knows the reef around the island well and knows where the good stuff likes to hide.
