Deep Diver Nusa Penida Course
There is something special about going deeper while underwater and the Deep Diver Nusa Penida course will take you there.
The marine life that roams Nusa Penida Island changes significantly the deeper and further we dive. Therefore, the chance of encountering pelagic creatures is high, of which is the famous Mola mola. A rarity only found in specific parts of the world. Having a Deep Diver certification is highly recommended, as it allows for enjoying the surrounding underwater world to the fullest. Shipwreck diving, for example, is mostly done at depth. Once certified, then you can dive up to 40metres / 130feet. The rules and procedures of deep diving differ from shallower recreational diving. Your instructor will cover both the knowledge development and skills training with you.
The course is super fun and will additionally give you a new perspective of the world below. So then, what are you waiting for? Let’s get deeper!
The course will take 1 and a half days. Afterwards, you will be certified to go to 40 metres. Furthermore, this is valid at dive operations worldwide!

Drift Diver Lembongan Course Structure
It is now time to put that self-study into practice and ultimately get deeper underwater! To begin your day, your instructor will brief you on the different performance requirements that need to be met, as long as revising your self-study and online forms. After, we will head out for a 2 dive day trip around Nusa Penida Island, over the next 2 days. We will do all dives in depth, and you will practice the skills you learned the day before. These skills include; gas management, navigation, color and pressure changes, and many more. The dive sites around the island are beautiful and, at the same time, unique. Based on the conditions, we will decide on the best dive sites to visit for the day. Perhaps we will get lucky and meet with the Mantas or the elusive Mola mola.
Other than the standard Scuba Diving gear, we also recommend bringing a few extras with you. Specifically, a divers slate as well as a flashlight will come in handy for deeper dives. Moreover, the water on Nusa Penida can also get chilly, therefore, we advise using a 5mm wetsuit at a minimum. Additionally, bring a diving hood if you have one. All the gear mentioned is available for hire at the dive center if needed.
