Taking a New Leap Toward the Professional Ladder

Why Should I Become PADI IDC Staff Penida?

Once you become an instructor and gain some experience, then your next step is the PADI IDC Staff Instructor course. Consequently, we offer the PADI IDC Staff Penida program to those who want to level up and share their knowledge. This is the perfect opportunity for you to provide firsthand experience to future Diving instructors.

After all, the best teaching comes from those who have already taught.

Upon joining the PADI IDC Staff Penida course, you will add valuable knowledge to your skillset. Moreover, you will get a unique look at how the IDC process works, behind the scenes. This is a great step in the right direction if you want to move up the PADI ladder. The more information we know, the more we grow. Additionally, if you want to manage or own your own dive center, then this is a good qualification to have.

Upon completion of your PADI IDC Staff Penida course, you’ll be qualified to teach Assistant Instructors and assist on IDC’s. Remember, each time we level up our qualifications we earn a new level of well-deserved respect. You gain this respect due to your improved knowledge of our sport. Moreover, your fellow team members of instructors and Divemasters will look to you for advice when needed. Additionally, becoming a Staff Instructor will instantly make you more employable as your skillset broadens. In a word, dive centers around the world usually look for managers who are Staff Instructor certified.

What’s Your Training Looks Like

PADI IDC Staff Penida Course Structure

We will hold the PADI IDC Staff Penida course simultaneously with the IDC that is taking place at the time. Having a different perspective on how we conduct an IDC will let you see things that you had missed before. Consequently, improving your existing knowledge and making you more aware of specific situations.

Your primary role will be to help the course director evaluate and counsel the IDC candidates. This will in turn help you brush up on your PADI standards and procedures knowledge. We are firm believers that we learn so much more when we are teaching others. In fact, you might even notice things about yourself that need improving. The Course Director will help you understand the scoring criteria and the effective ways in which to provide counsel. Over and above the knowledge and skills development, you will learn how to market and organize an IDC.
